In a nutshell
Get trained !
Mountain skiing and freeriding require a specific set of skills. Terrain and snow conditions can change from day to day, and a safe spot can become a death trap in a matter of hours. Statistics show that proper training significantly increases the chances of survival.
In collaboration with our partner Ortovox, we offer different levels of training for backcountry skiing and mountaineering. In addition to learning how to avoid dangers, you’ll become more competent and efficient in the event of an accident. You’ll learn how to use your safety kit, organize a rescue operation and provide first aid.
…and we’ll keep in mind that a good day’s skiing always starts with a good plan !
