If you’re dreaming of discovering ski touring on your own, this is the itinerary for you. From refuge to refuge, we cross the Vanoise, via these high plateaus and high-altitude valleys.
Roadbook
Day 1 : (+1000 / -300m)
After spending the night in the small village of Termignon, we set off on this first day of ascent between forest and wide open spaces to the Plan du Lac refuge for our first night at altitude.
Day 2 : (+1000 / -1000m)
The crossing of the Turc plateau will leave you breathless with its white, rolling expanses. Conditions permitting, we climb up the slopes of the Vallombrun glacier to finish the day at the refuge de la femma.
Day 3 : (+1000 / -800m)
We climb up the Rocheure valley to the pointe de méan Martin (3330 m), then descend to the Fond des Fours refuge (2532 m).
Day 4 : (+500 / -1200m)
Col des Fours (2976 m), long descent to Bonneval-sur-Arc (1800 m)
