In a nutshell

Have you always wanted to take on beautiful glacier routes in the high mountains, or to climb cliffs and string together pitches ?
Our training courses enable you to learn or perfect your skills, so you can set off to climb the peaks of your dreams !

Accompanied by a guide or state-certified instructor, you’ll spend days climbing, traversing ridges or evolving on glacier routes in the heart of the mountains.

Course objective :
The aim of this course is to teach you the basics of snow mountaineering: progression techniques, glacier safety, crevasse rescue… All in an exceptional setting.
Learning takes place in the field, putting these skills into practice as you climb some of the valley’s beautiful peaks.

Theoretical content :
– Knowledge of basic knots and equipment
– Race preparation and planning
– Awareness of the mountain environment

Practical content :
– Crampon techniques on snow and ice
– Various roping techniques on glacial, snowy and rocky terrain
– Mountain belay techniques
– Progression on glacier and mixed terrain
– Crevasse rescue and self-rescue

Who is this course for ?
This course is aimed at motivated hikers and climbers with previous mountain experience.
Perhaps you’ve already climbed a few summits, but you’d like to learn how to work independently and safely on alpine routes ? Then this course is for you.

Groups of 3 to 6 people for the duration of the course.

Course objective :
The aim of this course is to teach you the basics of rock climbing: learn the different techniques for progressing on ridges and major routes. You’ll learn in the field, putting these skills into practice as you climb some of the valley’s finest peaks.

Theoretical content :
– Knowledge of basic knots and equipment
– Race preparation and planning
– Awareness of the mountain environment

Practical content :
– Different types of roping on rocky terrain
– Mountain belay techniques (simultaneous moves or multi-pitch routes)
– Progression on mixed terrain
– climbing techniques on different types of rock

Who is this course for ?
This course is aimed at motivated hikers and climbers with previous mountain experience.

The aim of this course is to teach you the basics of rock climbing: learn the different techniques for progressing on ridges or in big voices. You’ll learn in the field, putting these skills into practice as you climb some of the valley’s finest peaks.

Theoretical content :
– Knowledge of basic knots and equipment
– Race preparation and planning
– Awareness of the mountain environment

Practical content :
– Various belay and supervision techniques
– Lead climbing and handling at the top of routes
– How to climb a multi-pitch route
– Abseiling techniques
– climbing movements on different types of rock

Who is this course for ?

This is a beginners’ course.
No prior knowledge of rope handling is required. If you’re able to go from 5b to second, then this course is for you. All the experience you need: a few introductory climbing sessions, on wall or natural, roped or bouldered.
